GROW IT LIKE ROBERTO
Normally Comic Relief sees people across the UK shaving their heads for the good cause, but at MORE TH>N’s head office in Horsham, it is the other way around.
In honour of their newest Marketing recruit - Head of e-business Roberto Hortal - and his fantastic goatee beard, the men in the MORE TH>N Marketing Department were set the challenge to ‘Grow it like Roberto’ and grow a goatee as good as his. Over 14 men, including Managing Director Mike Holliday-Williams, took part.
Not excluding the ladies, MORE TH>N also hosted a ‘FAKE IT LIKE ROBERTO’ event, where the women made and sold red, felt fake goatee beards in the shape of Roberto’s goatee.
Judging was done by sticking stars on the male whose goatee they thought the most like Roberto’s. Mark Craigs, also from the e-business team was announced the winner. He was awarded a Comic Relief Little Britain DVD and two bottles of Spanish wine.
MORE TH>N managed to raise over £700 for Comic Relief from this activity alone, and has also hosted a number of other events around its offices across the UK.
