Insurer offers personalised insurance service designed for hair and beauty industry

INSURER OFFERS PERSONALISED SERVICE THAT’S HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE REST

MORE TH>N BUSINESS has launched a new insurance product especially designed for the hair and beauty industry. Customers will talk to a dedicated hair and beauty team who have knowledge of the industry’s particular insurance requirements.

Recent research from MORE TH>N BUSINESS revealed that 6.6 million of us speak to call centres more often than we do to our family, yet for a quarter of us it is the most frustrating thing in our daily lives. Now hair and beauty consultants will no longer have the irritation of explaining their needs to call centre staff who don’t understand their profession.

The new policy was designed after extensive research among hair and beauty professionals. It offers customers a free 24 hour helpline which gives guidance on legal matters and health and safety issues, as well as stress counselling for those who need to talk about their business pressures to a professional. There is also a free helpline during working hours giving guidance on VAT, PAYE and other tax issues.

Additional benefits have been created specifically with the hair and beauty therapist in mind. The policy offers cover for all basic treatments to the hair at no extra cost, which could save businesses an estimated 10 per cent off their insurance cost each year. MORE TH>N BUSINESS also recognises that the use of water is important to the industry and the new policy includes cover of up to £5,000 for the loss of metered water, which is higher than most other policies on the market.

Cover can start from as little as £26 per month and unlike some other insurers, MORE TH>N BUSINESS doesn’t charge a penalty fee for paying monthly instead of annually.
