As Charles and Camilla and Ken and Deirdre Barlow prepare to tie the knot this week, insuring their wedding gifts may not be at the forefront of their mind, but many couples may welcome the extra cover and peace of mind after the huge expense of the wedding – with the average cost in the UK now standing at over £17,000*.
